How do I get started?
There is no need to book as we take new students all year round, so come along to a club session where the instructor will be able to provide a welcome pack with more details.
FIRST LESSON IS FREE. As most people are not sure what karate entails you can take advantage of a free class to see if karate is for you.
We aim to foster a friendly and safe environment where children thrive. |
|
What do I wear?
Don’t worry about equipment. You just need to wear something comfortable and loose fitting. Karate is practiced in bare feet.
Karate suits are available from your instructor. |
|
How often can I grade?
Gradings take place after 3 months if students have attended the required number of lessons and have achieved the necessary skill level. |
|
Will I Need Insurance?
As with all martial arts you will need to purchase an annual licence. You will receive a hard backed book with a unique number, this will act as your record of karate achievement and will stay with you through your karate career. This will make you a registered member and as such cover your insurance requirements. More information is available from an instructor. |
